Yes, u are right.God allows bad things to happen but satan is the causer.
Your right about one thing that religion itself cannot save you. The only person that can save you is God and God alone.
Do you believe that God started His own religion? No. But mankind had started one. Religion itself had been around centuries ago. Unfortunately people think that Jesus had started His own religion for His greater good. Yet Jesus did not start His own religion at all. He wanted to show He way, the truth and His Life on this Earth. He wanted to show His love and Divine Mercy on all of us. Sadly, He was crucified and died for our sins so we can all be saved.
I know that we have our faiths, believes and various religions. None of those can change us or save us. But if you beleve that God can change us, He can if you allow Him in your own heart.
