At 8.30 PM on Saturday 26 March 2011, lights will switch off around the globe for Earth Hour.
This year, when the lights go back on, we want you to think about what you can change in your daily life that will benefit the planet..!
Why not give it a shot and go electricity free for the whole night, go outdoors or stay in by candlelight unplug for planet!

For the life of me, i just can not fathom why an hour per year should be devoted to saving energy and the pollution that goes with it. Surely we should make a conscious effort to do so each and evey day?

Earth Hour is an initiative to encourage individuals, businesses and governments around the world to take accountability for their ecological footprint and engage in dialogue and resource exchange that provides real solutions to our environmental challenges.
