Earth Hour 2011: Its time to go beyond the hour
At 8.30 PM on Saturday 26 March 2011, lights will switch off around the globe for Earth Hour.
This year, when the lights go back on, we want you to think about what you can change in your daily life that will benefit the planet..!
Why not give it a shot and go electricity free for the whole night, go outdoors or stay in by candlelight unplug for planet!

Boet: For the life of me, i just can not fathom why an hour per year should be devoted to saving energy and the pollution that goes with it. Surely we should make a conscious effort to do so each and evey day?
Earth Hour does not purport to be an energy/carbon reduction exercise, it is a symbolic action. Therefore, we do not engage in the measurement of energy/ carbon reduction levels.
