I love writing about animals. Flying birds, land animals, water animals and so on. My favourite bird is the eagle. I love this bird so much, we all know that an eagle can't be kept as a pet and asuch thats not why i like this bird. I like the eagle just because of its qualities. If u have the time, take it and read this very carefuly, maybe at the end u will have to like this bird Eagle. Eagles are large birds of prey which are members of the bird family Accipitridae, and belong to several genera which are not necessarily closely related to each other. Golden Eagles can be found in the United States and Canada, nine more in Central and South America, and three in Australia. Description: Eagles are different from many other birds of prey mainly by their larger size of 5 to 15 kg, more powerful build, and heavier head and beak. Even the smallest eagles, like the Booted Eagle which is comparable in size to a Common Buzzard or Red-tailed Hawk, have relatively longer and more evenly broad wings, and more direct, faster flight. [i]eagles can fly from facebook to 2wap without petch on any other site. smiley That was a joke, but its to discribe how far an eagle can fly[i/] Most eagles are larger than any other raptors apart from the vultures. Species named as eagles range in size from the South Nicobar Serpent-eagle, at 500 g (1.1 lb) and 40 cm (16 in), to the 6.7 , the 100 cm (39 in) Philippine Eagle. Like all birds of prey, eagles have very large powerful hooked beaks for tearing flesh from their prey, strong muscular legs, and powerful talons. They also have extremely keen eyesight which enables them to spot potential prey from a very long distance. This keen microscopic eyesight is primarily contributed by their extremely large pupils which ensure minimal diffraction (scattering) of the incoming light. An eagle can sight so far that they can see there prediators and prey before time . While other flying birds are hiding from the sun, the eagle is busy flying in the sky. Rather the sunray helps to brieghten its eye sight. Eagles build their nests, called eyries, in tall trees, on high cliffs or mountains. Many species lay two eggs, but the older, larger chick frequently kills its younger sibling once it has hatched. The dominant chick tends to be the female, as they are bigger than the male. The parents take no action to stop the killing. The Eagle trains its youger siblings to be hard. The Eagle teach the young ones how to fly by pushing it down from the mountain or hiegh try, but still watch it as it falls, if its young one keep falling without opening the wing to fly the Eagle will immidiatly fly down and pick the young one by its wing, Very brave in doing that. This is what the eagle will do for reveral weeks untill the young one learn to fly then live on its own. These futures makes this bird very hard to be caught by hunters, Its far sight ability, Relatively scars cus they hatch just few and might even use the young ones as meal. And they live far far in the forest an on hiegh places. NOW HAVE U COME TO LIKE OR HATE THIS BIRD EAGLE? smiley
