At that wonderful period, we would not buy before we could eat. Lif survived on fresh food, left-over was a wast. You would go to school without money, the early meal was enough, back from school, you would walk to your meal. Then came a rebound, pound, shillings & pence, bcame Naira & Kobo. Even vegetation somersaulted, you must buy befor you could ate. Fresh meal disappeared, you must cook with cautions. You had to go to school with money in your pocket.
