ONCE UPON A TIME
In the days of our youth, we had a better deal of things.
In those days, one shillings would sustain, a family of five for one month.
At that wonderful period, we would not buy before we could eat.
Lif survived on fresh food,
left-over was a wast.
You would go to school without money, the early meal was enough, back from school, you would walk to your meal.
Then came a rebound, pound, shillings & pence, bcame Naira & Kobo.
Even vegetation somersaulted, you must buy befor you could ate.
Fresh meal disappeared, you must cook with cautions.
You had to go to school with money in your pocket.
Back from school, food might not be ready, mumm & dadd are at work, to keep the family together.
Today, it is worse,
