from march 10 to march 30,fide will conduct the matches between 8 qualifiers to determine the challenger to world champion Magnus Carlsen. ..8 qualifiers are 1-Vishwanathan Anand 2-Fabiano Caruana 3-Anish Giri 4-Hikaru Nakamura 5-Levon Aronian 6-Veselin Topalov 7-Sargei Karjakin 8-Peter Svidler. winner of the candidate cycle will challenge Current world champion M.Carlsen to decide next world champion.

V.Anand (INDIA)won game round one against V.TOPALOV(Bulgaria). all other three games ended in draw.. .. round 2- S Karjakin won.rest drew. .. round 3-- Anand has an edge with F.Caruana P.Svider is in better position with V.Topalov

Fabio Caruana beat V.Anand in the 10th round.to join leader S.Karjakin on 6 points. Anand slipped to third place nd in a must win situation against Karjakin in 11th round.
