A group of scientists at shanghai's Fudan university have a bright idea. A light bulb that produces its own Wi-fi signal. According to Xinhua,the technology is called Li-fi, and the prototype actually works better than the average connection in china..Also many as four computers place near a Li-fi bulb can connect to the internet,using light frequencies rather than the usual radio waves.The bulb is embedded with microchip that produces a signal,yielding rates as fast as 150 mbps,far faster than typical connection speeds. Note that Wi-fi and Li-fi are invented in china.

I read about it but there are alot of challenges they are facing like if the light doesnt reach you the transfer will stop.

Eeprom: darn mee i saw it on bbc click a bit ago, maybe ok in a undeveloped area where o people's never seen internet ,you could share 1 high-speed non fibre between abour ' 300' people's ,they wont mind the busy icon whilst they send a @Mail

Can internet be seen or you meant to say areas having poor connection? smiley

Eeprom: Just another internet connection option via light! "LiFi" . well i guess as its crap its good for developing countries whos infrastructure is Crap. . Geez i guess slow internet is better than no internet! The internet by LiFi is crappy for current (nornal)use however equip a shed with internet shared by Efi users would be god , eyefi is a new connection type that uses exist or new lighting and switching it to create the 1's and Zeros.

Lol then European countries and Others. I love China and want that lifi ðŸ˜„ðŸ˜„

Lifi is faster thn wifi but penistration is sooo less. So you can use lifi in other room
