Elections in India, a vibrant democracy and the second most populous nation in the world, involves a mega exercise by a gigantic government machinery. 16th Lok Sabha general election will be held in nine phases from 7th April to 12th May 14 in India.

According to the Election Commission of India, the electoral strength in 2014 is 81.45 crores (814.5 million), the largest in the world.
There is an increase of 10 crores (100 million) newly eligible voters.
This also will be the longest and the costliest general election in the history of the country with the Election Commission of India estimating that the election will cost the exchequer Rs 3,500 crores, excluding the expenses incurred for security and individual political parties.
Parties are expected to spend 30,500 crores (about US*5 billion) in the election, according to the Centre for Media Studies. This is three times the amount spent in the previous electionand is the world's second highest after the US*7 billion spent on the 2012 U.S. election.
Incumbent Prime Minister Manmohan Singhis retiring and has ruled himself out as a prime ministerial candidate.

Don't fight pls.. People can differ in opinion.. But Talking of facts, Frankly Without any doubt It is clear that Narendra Modi is the Most popular Politician of these few recent decades And I think after Lal bahadur shashtri, He could well be remembered in the history of Indian politics. In recent times, Politicians have been the most hated personalities in India And there were a kind of Frustrated Environment around the people of India But Since the time Narendra Modi was announced the PM candidate of BJP.. Hopes of Indian people have reincarnated, And I think Half the supporters of Narendra MOdi Don't even like any politician Forget BJP But the Honest personality of Narendra Modi made them hopeful about the future of India. Some people are still saying Congress & BJP are same, These people either don't know that If you're not choosing any side in Indian democracy, You are still choosing one And probably the evil one Cuz There has to be a government in center According to Indian democracy.. Or perhaps these people have just been circulated among the public to confuse voters in order to polarise votes. I'll proudly vote for BJP because it is the only practical option in current scenario Given its Tried & Tested Development Man Narendra Modi..
Now, About AAP - Aam Admi Party.. Initially I liked AAP because of their straight forward approach towards corrupts But slowly Since the day they got Power in Delhi They proved that They're no different than other Corrupt politicians. The fought the whole Delhi election over the name of corruption Opposing Delhi's then CM shiela DickShxt But When Congress supported them in making the government They cleverly Slipped the issue under the table. Now, they dont even talk about Shiela dickshxt Even when she became the governor of Keral. They completely broke their promises and fooled people. Before holding the position they said They won't take any security or Government Vehicle BUt after they got power They were flying in the Government Cars. Now only an illiterate will vote them.
One more thing attracted me towards Modi, The whole political class is against him! That's some rare person.. Even his party persons are opposing him... It happens only when A good man tries to make things right.. If all politicians are corrupt (With this sentence Every Indian will agree) Then Narendra Modi Must win To defeat those corrupts Who are now opposing him!!!!

no party will get majority .. Bjp will gain atleast 200 seats and i hope they will get support of other small parties to form the government, NaMo will be our next PM.. I just wanna see what change he will bring to our country .!
