Heaven Is A Choice|Hell Is A Choice by integrity-daolyboy 2013/06/24 14:28
Many believers and non-believers have a problem with the doctrine of hell. More specifically, the question of how a loving God can send people to hell. I personally don't believe that God has ever sent anyone to hell. I don't think a loving God could send anyone to hell, nor do I believe it's His will that anyone go to hell..
In fact, I believe He has done everything in His power to prevent anyone from going to hell.
However, I do believe that there cannot be positive without negative. There can't be cold without its counterpart of hot. There can't be up without its counterpart of down. There can't be light without its counterpart of darkness. There can't be good without its counterpart of evil. And there can't be heaven without its counterpart of hell. I believe hell does exist. Jesus himself spoke about hell more than anyone else in scripture.
John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes on Him would not perish but have everlasting life". Before Jesus, man had no choice in his eternal destiny. He was doomed to an eternity of separation from God which included imprisonment in hell after death.
Jesus came and gave man a choice. Jesus came and provided man an escape from a life in hell, separated from God after death. God sent us His Son so that through the acceptance of Jesus, we wouldn't have to go to hell. So to say that God sends people to hell is incorrect.
Behold, I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing therefore choose life so that you and your seed may live...
In Northern Nigeria we have Kano and in Western part we have Lagos. For the sake of illustration, what if I knew that you and your family were lost. And let's say I knew that you were searching for a safe place. Knowing that the road to Lagos leads to life, and the road to Kano leads to death, what if I went and posted a sign at the Interstate on ramp that reads, "You are about to get on a safe trip. Heading west will take you to Lagos where there is heaven and eternal life in fellowship with God. Heading north will lead to Kano, where there is death, hell and eternal separation from God. Go to the west, so that you and your family will live".
But after observing the sign, you and your family decide to head north to Kano. Wouldn't it be ludicrous to say that I sent you to hell? Sure it would. In fact, the argument could be made that I did all I could to prevent you from going to hell. Going to hell was purely a choice that you made, not me nor would I be responsible for sending you to hell.
I believe that God presents us with a similar scenario where our eternal destination is concerned. Like I said earlier, I don't think God has ever sent anyone to hell but unfortunately, many have made the choice to go to hell by refusing to take advantage of the escape clause of acceptance of His Son Jesus Christ.
If you're in the process of choosing life or death, blessing or cursing, heaven or hell, I encourage you to choose Jesus. Choose heaven and not the counterpart of hell. He gave His all so that you can be with Him in glory forever. Choose life so that you and your seed may live.

For something to exist, it must be created by God.right?,if so, should we say that wat u call hell exists?Afterall, the scriptures say that God created heaven and earth and all things in them.and u say that hell is no part of heaven nor is it part of earth.wr is it then and who created it?

WHAT IS HELL

If u make good research, u'll find out that, hell is used to mean the common grave, also, everlasting destruction which means death without hope for future resurrection
