A wise man once sat in the audience & cracked a joke. All laughed like crazy.
After a moment, he cracked the same joke again and a little less people laughed this time. He cracked the same joke again & again.
When the laughter in the audience completely stopped, he smiled and said, “When u can’t laugh on the same joke again & again, then why do u keep crying over the same regret over and over againâ€
Bottomline Let’s admit it : there is no such thing as a life without any regrets. All of us have laments which may keep pinching…. for a few seasons or maybe lifelong. When you find yourself thinking of regrets, switch your thoughts to the things you have learnt and the opportunities that are now yours – even if they were not planned. There is always a lesson, even in pain and sadness. Look for the positives and focus on them instead of what might have been.
Further, have faith in your destiny. Do not bother about the past too much, and come what may, remain optimistic. Old adage….. Regret looks back. Worry looks around. Faith looks up. Optimism looks forward.
