WHAT IS YOUR HINDERANCE? What is hindering you from coming to Jesus? Is it guilt, condemnation, inferiority complex or fear? Remember the prostitute in Luke 7:36-50. She never allowed the consciousness of her sin to rob her of the peace and pardon she would receive in Christ. By an act of faith, she began to think not of her sins and shortcomings but of her righteousness in Christ Jesus. God has not created anyone He cannot change. We have seen prostitutes become chaste. We have seen a drunkard become sober, a covetous man become generous, a liar become truthful simply by trusting in the suffering of Christ Jesus. Jesus Christ has purchased redemption, healing, deliverance and all of Gods blessings at the price of His great suffering. In coming to Jesus for help and spiritual healing, we must have an eye upon Him as the promised Messiah, the Trustee of mercy and grace. You have not committed the unpardonable sin. I mean no one is too good or too bad to qualify for Gods grace and mercy. Jesus Christ receives repentant souls; He loves them and welcomes them. The worst of sins can be forgiven.
