ODE TO MY MOTHER When you were alive, mother we joked around , play around , talking and laughing, your teaching and kindness were at the top of your list You cared for me and never complained. each conversation you turned into a lesson. You were easy on forgiving You were soft on the living (and the dead) everybody loved you, because You were big with your giving and never jealous if you felt your place was threatened There were no grey areas with you not a dull moment at all You did suffer , because of circumstances I surely know that But you always were positive for my sake. You never hated I know you love deeply Sometimes life was so hard And sometimes I've heard you cry... I will never forget your voice in my head especially when you said “I am so ready to go.” You made an impact , mother that no other could ever equal. Mamma this one thing I always know for sure is YOU WERE ONE OF A KIND ! I miss you so much ♥ Xxx
