God gifted us 'parents' who complete our world. A thank you poem to our parents on parents' day.
As the earth is incomplete without the sun and moon,
As a child cannot be imagined without his father and mother,
The sun is the father; bright and commanding,
The moon is the mother; soft and sweet.
When we see a little baby,
He just smiles, cries and hums few words,
He tries to talk, and walk,
Sometimes he falls,
Still he knows his parents are always there for him.
The word mother itself is heaven,
We can live our life in her comfort,
From a baby to a grown-up,
No matter how old we are,
We are always younger and lovable under her care.
Words are less to say we love them,
For giving life, care and love,
For guiding us to curve our own identity and career,
For teaching us how to behave and treat people nicely,
For staying with us always in our ups and downs.
Relationship of parents and children exists unconditionally,
It's a blood relationship binds us together,
From our existence to our success,
Parents are the wholesome,
Without parents our life is empty.
On parents' day, we feel lucky to express our gratitude,
Being our parents, being our family,
Being our caretakers, being our shelter,
We would be nothing without you,
Thanks a lot! You are the universe we revolve.
