Samsung download problem.

My friend owns a samsung Chat3222. The phone is facing problems after downloading .jar files. After the file is downloaded it gives an invalid error. None of the browsers getting downloaded. Any suggestions ?

but samsung says it does supports JAVA MIDP 2.0, CLDC 1.1

Try this... Go to settings >memory > default memory > change all default memory to memory card. This worked for Opera mini 4.3. don't know this works for other versions or not

I too bought this mobile recently. Right Now there is no solution for this problem. I tried lot of methods like copying both .jad and .jar file and also by using tk explorer. I tried to use some codes like *#9998*52824678255# to Activate java install *#52828378# this code will take you to the java test menu . We can increase the size of applications from 500 to 2000 to install larger sized files. Hope some one will crack it as soon as possible to install applications in this mobile. Otherwise this mobile Rocks.

i am using a samsung gt-s5230 star and my phone can install applications i even receive through bluetooth but the problem with most samsung phones is that they only support mobile wap installation, i.e. download only through your default browser! maybe youhave to try that one.
