ill just add you can also use ur nokia ur going to update as modem to download the update software due to the fact the update doesnt start untill the downloaded software is complete i have done such a few times myself with success

also if ur using USB mobile broadband internet on computer id advise you to unplug the dongle once NSU has downloaded the updates Before flashing begins im suspect not doing this cause nsu confusion and bricked my n86....take good care when use NSU or any flashing tools its so easy to brick ur phone ..keep all other programs off and dont touch phone or usb cable
