"The Religion in the sight of Allah is Islam." (Qur'an 3:19)
In another verse of the Holy Qur'an, Allah states:
"If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (Submission to Allah), Never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost."(Qur'an 3:85)
If a person does not pronounce the Shahada and enter Islaam, we cannot say that he is a Muslim, even if he admired Islaam and recognized that it the best religion, a great religion, and so on. Abu Taalib, the uncle of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) died a kaafir (non-Muslim), and Allaah forbade His Prophet to pray for forgiveness for him, even though he used to defend the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and said in his poems: "I do know that the religion of Muhammad is better than all other religions of mankind; were it not for fear of blame or slander, you would find me accepting it completely."

With all due respect Shacc; the Q'uran is one of several HOLY SCRIPTURES. The Bible is another one of the HOLY SCRIPTURES. Even though these ancient scriptures might be different, they all have one object in common. And that is for ALL to be ONE in the lamentations to God/ALLAH. We are not God, or Allah! Does the Q'uran not teach about forgiveness and patience? Does the Bible not teach about neighbourly love, and compassion?

Islam believes in diversity of religions.
Islam actually took birth in the context of Judaism and Christianity being the prevailing religions.
Islam shows a special respect towards Judaism and Christianity because of the common faith heritage.
Islam expects the followers of these religions to live an upright life as the wish of the creator.

Yes its true we muslims believe that Islam is the only devine faith. Furthermore, Allah forbids muslims to insult other faiths and their followers because it'll contradict the virtue of 'peace'. We must respect others for what they believe, treat them as you treat your fellow muslims with kindness, vulgarism is not good.
I for a person always maintain these balances and you'll hardly find me in other religion's thread. But i do turn red when my faith is insulted (not to attack another faith, but to defend my own faith).

i dont sleep in faithzone neither do i live in faithzone and neither was i appointed staff because of faithzone. I've always cleared what i see (i cant delete what i didnt see), i've always cleared your threads upon you requests. I cant do more than that bro, i'm not the only staff in 2wap so please dont expect me to do everything.
Effectively from yesterday i've voluntarily stopped moderating in faithzone, i'm now here just to make posts. So henceforth, i wont be doing anything here. Thank you.
