Opera Mini 4.1 proxy+download os9.2etc

Well as some phones dont support opera8.65 so i searched for mini which is proxy enabled and can download too! And i found that if once 4.1 version is installed by proper gprs settings, spending some nominal money then it will work for proxy/free gprs trick and can download too. I found two version of opera mini 4.1 among which one is jad which can download faster and it worked prefect for me in nokia E51 cell which does not support opera8.65 and is os9.2. Download speed is greatest @dawn

For installing it 1st time i used normal gprs setting which took a min or two to install it and then i could open it any time using different proxy connections previously set in. So u have to spend too few money for installing that (if cell connected with pc via pc suite and cell modem is connected by pc suite get internet connected icon then installation more easy though it may not actually connect net). Previously i used opera mini mod 2.06 which was proxy enabled but it could not download...

... through my proxy settings and to my surprise i spent a whole day and a half to discover that if i write the proxy address in tools/settings of mini opera then it could not get connected by os9.2 which is contrary to my os7 s60v2 cell. Here i want to mention that UCWEB SIS version got installed but took some time in the same process and it could only work by proper settings and there is a download manager too in that superb browser version 6.1 but could not work through proxy setting of bsnl!

Thanks for that info bro., but sometime back when i tried installing Opera Mini on my phone it got hanged up. I started installation again after restarted but then it again got hanged up.. smiley

i still dnt believe when he says his symbian 9.2 phn dsnt supports opera 8.65 smiley

YES TO BOTH HEAVEVS DEVIL AND KILL A F. u will find non compatible cell of opera 8.65 in www.opera.com- those are nokia e51, e71, e90

1st connect to proper gprs then install. it should not hang, the 4.1 version. anyway there is always 2.06mod proxy version

M using Nokia-3230., Airtel is my operator n service provider. In the connection settings, its clearly mentioned Acess point Mobile office @ airtelgprs.com.. By default phone browser Web m able to acess wap but not able to install Opera n i dont knowthe reason y. I have Opera 4.1 but it shows some problems during installation and it gets failed each time I try. Now tell me what could be done..?

Connect your phone via usb and then click get connected to internet icon in pc suite. Now install. Connect by gprs 1st to any site by normal browser then try to install it. As these are java programmes , should work on any java enabled phone not only os9.2
