Booya stones were sacred stones that were est by the priests of the murray islands,which are located in the torres straits. They emitted an intence blue light, and had a number of apparently magical properties, when europeans reached islands, the priests hid the Booya stones, and their location is now unknown.scientists today speculate that the stones may have been lumps of pure radium ! !
